Sessions & Fees

Initial Consultation
Duration: Up to 1.5 hours
Fee: No charge
A meeting with the child's parents (or guardians) to discuss the issues involved, and to answer any procedural questions on counselling methods to be employed

Client Consultations - Phase 1
Duration: 45 minutes
Fee: $100 per session
A set of 6 appointments are held with the child to explore issues, identify causes, and arrive at solutions. These meeting usually take place once a week, but may be adjusted if necessary.

Parent Feedback - Phase 1
Duration: As required
Fee: $100 per hour
After the sixth counselling session, a feedback meeting is held with the child's parents to discuss findings and make recommendations. The child's progress will be evaluated from every standpoint, and, should the need exist, a decision will then be taken by the parents on whether or not to continue with counselling.

Client Consultations - Phase 2
Duration: 45 minutes
Fee: $100 per session
If it is agreed at the Parent Feedback that the child requires additional counselling sessions, these will be conducted on the same basis as before. However, there is no set number of appoinments required at this time, and sessions will end as soon as further counselling is no longer deemed necessary.
Parent Feedback - Phase 2
Duration: As required
Fee: $100 per hour
Periodic Parent Feedback sessions are held for as long as counselling continues. These usually take place following each set of four appointments, but these can be adjusted as the Child's progress and circumstances dictate.

Payment Terms

  • Payment for each Client Consultation is required prior to, or at the start of the appointment.
  • Payment for each Parent Feedback session is required immediately on presentation of invoice
  • Cancellation of an appointment without 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee
